Approach
I offer psychotherapy and psychological services grounded in an action-oriented, insight-driven approach designed to support transformative and lasting change. My work is focused on helping individuals navigate emotional, relational, and psychological challenges while facilitating resilience, clarity, and fulfillment.
I hold a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto. I also bring lived experience from a career in leadership and innovation roles across the tech, finance, media, and telecommunications sectors—including Microsoft, Mozilla, TD Bank, Bell Canada, and The Globe and Mail.
In my sessions, I draw from a range of evidence-based and evidence-informed therapeutic modalities, including:
-
Psychodynamic Therapy
Explores unconscious processes, early experiences, and emotional patterns that shape current thoughts, behaviors, and relationship dynamics.
-
Trauma-Informed Care
Recognizes the impact of trauma on the nervous system and emotional regulation, providing a safe and empowering foundation for healing.
-
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
Helps clients identify and implement practical strategies using their existing strengths and resources to resolve current challenges.
-
Strength-Based Therapy
Focuses on identifying and amplifying the client's inherent capabilities and values to promote personal agency and empowerment.
-
Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Targets unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs, supporting behavioral change and improved emotional regulation.
-
Narrative Therapy
Helps reframe personal stories and beliefs to support identity growth, agency, and a more compassionate view of the self.
-
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
Facilitates deeper emotional processing and helps clients access, understand, and transform difficult emotions. This approach is especially helpful for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or unresolved emotional pain.
-
Psychological Assessment
In addition to therapy, I offer comprehensive psychological assessments for adults seeking diagnostic clarity. These include evaluations for ADHD, mood disorders, and anxiety. Each assessment includes a detailed report, feedback session, and practical recommendations to support treatment, accommodations, or further care. All assessments are conducted under supervised practice in accordance with professional standards.
I firmly believe in the inherent creativity and inner strength of each individual. Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to uncover meaning, build insight, and challenge limiting beliefs. By transforming inner narratives into strengths-based perspectives, clients gain tools to create lives aligned with their values, purpose, and goals.
My commitment is to offer a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients can reflect deeply and take meaningful strides toward personal growth and well-being.
My services are covered by insurance.
